The candidates of The Perfect Picture were given the assignment this week to record a model with a ‘physical imperfection’, as presenter Tijl Beckand describes it. Bibi Breijman’s model, for example, lacks a forearm, which van Soy Kroon was born with albinism, and Bert’s model has a birthmark on his face.

While shooting, Bert comes to the conclusion that it is nicer if the model takes off his shirt, but he does not find that easy to ask. “I’m also going to ask if you can … your shirt … have a look.” Tijl sees Bert worry and therefore suggests that he ask the question. Together with guest photographer Monique Velzeboer, he gets the model to take off his shirt.

The scene is reminiscent of the nude photo shoot from two weeks ago. Then Bert chose a male model, because he thought this would be a bit less awkward than a woman. It delivered still quite a lot awkward scene.
