The many kings of dance hits “Bermudu Divstūris” have announced an ambitious summer concert tour throughout Latvia, presenting the first single “Bride” from the upcoming album “Vidēji glīts”. It will reach the audience in the beginning of June.
The album “Moderately Handsome” will be the third studio album in the history of “Bermuda Divide”, and this time it promises to surprise with unprecedented musical experiments and collaborations. For example, the album’s first single “Līgava” has been made in an ethnic sound together with the best bagpipe and drum masters in Latvia – the group “Auļi”.
The new single is created by combining seemingly as different musical styles as ethno with popular music and rap, which is the first creative experiment of its kind in the history of both groups. “Auļu” balls often featured the hits of “Bermuda Triangle”, so we were really happy to receive an offer to participate in the recording of this song. The lyrics of the song touched us deeply, because the message expressed in it coincides exactly with what our hearts feel. This was also a great opportunity to work again with our friends from various contemporary folk music groups to create a men’s choir especially suitable for this song, ”says Kaspars Bārbals, the bagpiper of the group Auļi.
It must be admitted that the “Bride” will make the work of the “Bermuda Triangle” look at with completely different fans of the group, as well as its “hitters” – there are many on both fronts. It should be noted that Edgars Grabovskis or Horse from the group “Skyforger”, Ēriks Zeps from the post-folklore group “Rikši”, Edgars Zilberts from the folklore and ancient fighting group “Vilkači” and Andrejs Planders and Viesturs Āboltiņš from the folklore and experimental The Third Blade ”. “We live in a time when we need to value what we have been given more than ever before. The song is about the love and power it can provide and the desire to protect what is truly important and precious. We are very pleased that this song and its message have been made with the best masters in their field, and “Auļi” is definitely like that! ” cousins Triceps and Biceps share their thoughts.
The concert concerts of the band’s new album “Vidēji glīts” will take place all over Latvia – in Liepāja, Jelgava, Rēzekne, Alūksne, Sigulda, Roja, but the final concert of the tour will be held in Riga.
