A fire broke out on Wednesday evening in a two-story former industrial building on Revaler Strasse in Berlin-Friedrichshain. Over 200 square meters of the roof structure of the building are in flames, said a spokesman for the Berlin fire department on rbb24 request.
The fire brigade was alerted at 9:24 p.m. and is deployed with 50 men. According to the spokesman, people were not present in the building. Accordingly, there would be no injuries. The extinguishing work was still ongoing and would probably keep the fire brigade busy the whole evening.
