Good news ! Benoît Saint-Denis is expected to fight in front of the home crowd on the UFC Paris card on 3 September.
Benoit Saint-Denis (9-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) will then face Christos Giagos (19-10 MMA, 5-6 UFC) during the UFC Fight Night on 3 September at the Accor Arena in Paris.
The UFC has yet to make an official announcement, but people confirmed the fight to RMC Sport and MMA Junkie just a few minutes ago.
Saint-Denis lost his first match in the UFC against Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos at UFC 267 last Octoberbut it made up for it by going light and featuring Niklas Stolze at UFC Fight Night 207 in June.
For his part, Christos Giacos is 2-2 in his last 4 meetings. He got streak victories over Carlton Minus and Sean Soriano, then lost to Arman Tsarukyan and Thiago Moises.
Yesterday we also learned of the return of Taylor Lapilus at the UFC. He will also fight in Paris.
