Bolzano, 6 February – An inordinate passion for bodybuilder’s body that he carried Benno Neumair, 30, teaching fitness in a gym where he said to his students: “Not only will I give you a perfect body, but also a performing one”. His was full of anabolics, he had gotten addicted to them and had had some intoxications that some drugs were trying to soothe.

And this addiction was changing his character making him very aggressive. A few months ago, while he was living in Germany with an ex-girlfriend, he had had one crisis: he had threatened the girl with a knife and then had turned it towards himself.
The woman managed to stop him and call an ambulance which she brought Benno in the hospital where he was hospitalized a few days in the psychiatry ward, where he was diagnosed with a paranoid disorder. Discharged and returned to his parents’ villa, in via Castel Roncolo on the residential outskirts of the city, not far from Piazza delle Erbe, he had other crises and quarrelsi with Peter and Laura, who had forced him into pharmacological help.
Benno studied exercise science at the University of Innsbruck and speaks German fluently, this allowed him to work in a bilingual school in Bolzano where he was a substitute teacher in mathematics.
Here too, however, he had had violent moments like when he threatened a colleague, so much so that the parents had written a letter to the principal asking for the alternate’s removal.
Also difficult relationship with the rest of the family and above all with his younger sister Madè, 27, graduated in medicine and surgery and currently specializing in orthopedics and traumatology in a Bavarian clinic. It was precisely the insistence of telephone calls from Munich that led Benno, with the help of his aunt Carla, to report the disappearance of parents.
For a couple of months the boy had been engaged to Martina, clerk of a shop in the center of Bolzano, of Argentine origin. You live in Ora, about twenty kilometers from Bolzano.

And even in her, as in her family, the more the days pass, the more doubts arise about Benno, who in prison continues to declare himself innocent, very suffering “and waiting for the bodies of his parents to be recovered”, as his lawyers Flavio says. According to the investigators, Benno has maniacally cleaned all the rooms, but something must have escaped him and the Ris of the carabinieri has focused its interest on that.
