JERUSALEM ∙ The return of former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is almost certain. With 95% of the votes counted, Netanyahu’s coalition continues to win 65 seats out of 120. Religious Zionism, an ultranationalist party allied to Netanyahu’s Likud party, improved its performance in the last elections and won 14 seats. According to the latest figures from the Central Election Committee, Likud alone has 32 seats. Yesh Adid party of current Prime Minister Yair Lapid has 24 seats. The National Unity won 12 seats.
