Benfica will pay a fine of 3,825 euros for the objects that were thrown in the direction of Roger Schmidt, in the game between the eagles and Farense last weekend, in Luz.
At issue are the throwing of water bottles and glasses at the Benfica coach, when he removed João Neves from the match, which ended in a 1-1 draw.
«The restart of the game was delayed by around 30 seconds, due to the throwing of some objects by fans belonging to the visited club, with a plastic cup being thrown into the field of play without hitting any player», it can be read in the report of the Disciplinary Board of the Portuguese Football Federation.
The eagles were also fined 8,925 euros for pyrotechnics.
