Belgium places a French department and three Spanish provinces in the red zone

The Foreign Ministry updated its list of color codes by country on Friday.

Among the main changes, the Bouches-du-Rhône department in France, the autonomous community of Madrid, the Balearic Islands and the province of Almería in Spain turn red, that is to say requiring a mandatory quarantine on return as well as a screening test in the direction of returns and the ban on going there in the direction of departures.

The autonomous community of the Basque Country, and therefore no longer just the province of Biscay, and the province of Burgos (autonomous community of Castile and León) also turn red in Spain.

In contrast, Leicester, in the United Kingdom, is no longer classified in the red zone.

Some changes

Foreign Affairs, which takes the information from the FPS Public Health and the Celeval expert group, also made important changes in the orange zone, areas for which it is recommended to take a screening test on return as well as to remain in quarantine. .

Several French islands (Guadeloupe; Martinique; Reunion; Mayotte and Saint Martin) are emerging.

This is also the case for the French departments of Eure-et-Loir, Indre-et-Loire, Maine-et-Loire, Finistère, Isère, Hautes-Alpes, Haute- Saône, Oise, Haut-Rhin, Aube, Marne, Gironde, Pyrénées-Atlantiques and Creuse.

Orange is also spreading even more in Spain. Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote (autonomous community of the Canary Islands), Granada and Jaén (autonomous community of Andalusia) are now concerned.

Among other changes, Greece as a whole has been added.

The full list can be found on the Foreign Affairs website.
