Belgium has re-opened on Monday this week to zero hours a its borders to residents of other member States of the european Union and the Schengen area (Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Iceland and Norway), and to those in the United Kingdom. A new step in the déconfinement, which allows many Belgians considering a vacation abroad. But some countries still impose conditions.

This also on Monday, the foreign Affairs are put in the line of travel tips simplified to indicate which countries are “open” to the arrival of our residents. Beware, however: all the european States are not so rushed, and the situation will continue to evolve.
Indeed, if Belgium put on its side, the fire in the green for the other european countries, it is not necessarily the same in the other direction. Some maintain a limited access to some countries (in general, Belgium is not part of the privileged), others still impose conditions to be able to enter their territory, as a screening test or in respect of a period of quarantine once on place.
The travel advice simplified promised on Friday by the minister of foreign Affairs Philippe Goffin aim to make everything verifiable in a glance. They will be updated continuously.
Because if Europe has attempted to harmonize the lifted restrictions on the internal boundaries in recommending the date of 15 June, the measure is only partially followed across the EU. Some will open their borders to tourists over late during the week (such as Austria, that the proclamation for Tuesday), or at the beginning of the summer (Spain), or even do not consider at all a widespread manner in the immediate future (Denmark, Norway, Hungary, among others).
Travel is non-essential, non-EU and Schengen still remain prohibited.
