Are you happy to be here with us, in Ostrava, at the B4L festival? How does Ostrava affect you?
I’ve heard a lot about this amazing festival, so I’m very happy to be a part of it this year. I must say that the location of the festival in the industrial area is unique. I haven’t seen anything like it anywhere else. I played in a somewhat similar place in Germany, but in this Ostrava is truly unique. I’m excited about it here.

Do you play in the Czech Republic often?
I don’t perform very often in the Czech Republic. When I play here, it’s mainly in Prague, which I fell in love with. Prague is a really wonderful city. But now I am really very happy that I also got to know Ostrava and this unique location of the Lower Vítkovice region. There is an extraordinary audience here. Like I said, I’ve never experienced anything like it. It is a great experience for me to be here.

How did you cope with the coronavirus epidemic and the lockdown? Did you create?
I was on tour for a long time before the covid pandemic, so the lockdown was actually not that bad for me. I could calm down, slow down, relax. I had a chance after a long tour to start working on my music in the studio again. I also went back to my roots and played with acoustic music. It was amazing to use all the energy I had from previous shows and channel it into something new.

What have you prepared for the Ostrava audience at B4L?
I played a few of my exclusive tracks here as well as a remix of my new single Questions. The audience and everything here was extraordinary.

How did you become a famous DJ?
Thanks for this question, it’s actually very interesting. I never wanted to be a famous DJ. I wanted to produce music and hear and see famous DJs playing my tracks. But then I just tried to play in smaller clubs, and you see, now I’m here in Ostrava. And to be honest, I totally love it. And actually the other DJs play my songs too, so I actually got everything I wanted.
