The argument between Belen Rodriguez and ex Antonino Spinalbese, who together had their daughter Luna Marie, started on social media but risks ending up in court. The subject of the clash was the Christmas holidays spent by her daughter with her mother and her new partner Elio Lorenzoni in a resort in Franciacorta, before leaving for Argentina. What triggered the whole thing was the controversy over Spinalbese’s inability to spend the holidays with his daughter and Belen. “I have read some rather defamatory and misunderstanding articles about myself, about my daughter regarding Christmas. I have seen posts and stories created ad hoc trying to pass off as victims in front of the public and the Italian people, trying once again to put me in a bad light ” wrote the Argentine showgirl who continues: “I have always respected men, I have never forbidden anything and you know it well. I invite the person who brought me up to take care of his daughter throughout the year. Don’t pay attention only on Christmas day. Love is always needed, not just on Christmas Eve. Words to which Spinalbese, hairdresser, responded with a long social post: “I am unfortunately forced for the umpteenth time to have to defend myself from unfounded accusations from others. I am a caring father and, naturally, I love my daughter more than any other person. She it is my reason for living. Being a father means loving a daughter unconditionally, staying silent and passively accepting all the decisions and whims of others. Accepting against my will to be put aside, constantly hearing insults and lies about me… but all of this is fine, because I am the father and I will always be willing to suffer, always and only for my daughter. Anyone who is a parent knows well how fundamental it is to be present, every day, in the life of a child.” And again: “Being a parent does not mean using babysitters, drivers, service personnel and preferring all other relatives or new companions to the presence of the father… Being a good father does not even mean having millions in the bank to take care of a daughter I can also be a “beggar” and I’m proud of it because I am a person of healthy values and principles, ready to take care of myself 24 hours a day for the rest of my life.”
