The self-proclaimed president of Belarus, Oleksandr Lukashenko, made a confusing statement about the country’s preparations for war.
As reported by Ukrinform, Lukashenko said this during a working trip to Grodno press office.
“Don’t believe anyone that we want to fight. We are preparing for war, I speak about it frankly. “If you want peace, prepare for war” – I did not invent it. It is very correctly said,” Lukashenko said.
According to him, the necessary training of the relevant units is being conducted in the country, various types of weapons and equipment are being supplied to the troops.
At the same time, Lukashenko emphasized that Belarus does not threaten anyone with anything. “We don’t need to threaten anyone. We don’t want someone else’s land. Let us, God forbid, cultivate it,” he added.

As reported by Ukrinform, training of the territorial defense forces is starting in Belarus at once in several districts.
