Being affected by speed – the story of Mārtiņš Seskas

Last year was important in the athlete’s career – after spending several years as a junior, the rally pilot proved himself by becoming the vice-champion in the European rally! At the end of March, the film “Atruma skartie” (“Atruma skartie” (“Skuba Films”) premiered, and this exciting story is already available to viewers on LMT Viedtelevizija.

Many motorsport enthusiasts have been following the career of Mārtiņš Seskas for more than ten years. “Touched by speed” allows you to look into the life of an athlete, offering the audience to be present in his star hour as well. The film tells about determination, iron will, and, of course, about rallying, and thus inevitably – also about speed.

The documentary story also shows the racing driver’s fellow human beings, who have a special role in his success and who have constantly supported and guided Martínas in his career. In order to better understand the development and context of motorsport in Latvia, the opinion leaders of the Latvian rally family are interviewed in “Atruma skartajs”, because they tirelessly contributed to the arrival of Latvian motorsportsmen at the epicenter of world rally events.

“Atruma skartie” emphasizes a very important fact: Mārtiņš Sesks continues his racing career in the third generation of the family.
