So far, the team has won two games after four games – it has managed to prove its superiority over South Korea and Slovakia, but Canada and Estonia have suffered losses.
The Latvian team consists of skip Polina Rožkova, Ojārs Briedis, Agris Lasmans, Aleksandrs Dimbovskis and Sergejs Djačenko, as well as coach Arnis Veidemanis.
On Tuesday, Latvian wheelchair riders will meet with Switzerland and Norway, on Wednesday with the United States, and on Thursday with Great Britain and China. The Russian team has been disqualified for Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
The Winter Paralympic Games take place from March 4 to 13. Latvia is represented in the games by a wheelchair team.
