Cleanliness is the main key in every food factory. But it’s different from this noodle factory which is a rat’s nest and full of rat droppings.
After the splashy closure of a tofu factory full of cockroaches and rat droppings on Jalan Pudu, the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) is now again refusing a noodle factory that is no less dirty and violates health protocols.

Reported by Red Chilli21 (27/06), one of the noodle-making factories in the Segambut area, Malaysia, was forced to be closed by the DBKL because the factory conditions were very dirty and unfit.
According to the DBKL upload on Facebook, there were five DBKL officers who made unannounced visits to the noodle factory. Inside the factory they were surprised to find many mice running there.
Not only is it a rat’s nest, this noodle factory is also filled with rat droppings on the floor to the production room.

Black stains and dirty crust filled the floor to the wall. Even the toilets there are also cleanliness can not be guaranteed. There was an unpleasant smell and black stain from the toilet.
Officers also found three foreign workers who were caught not wearing aprons or headgear while making noodles. These employees have also not been vaccinated to avoid typhus.
“Food processing equipment and machinery are very dirty and in poor condition. There are rats roaming around the food processing area with their poop,” DBKL reports.
In addition to dirty all the production equipment is also outdated, the factory manager has never carried out pest control or pest control.
“We are taking action to close the food law in accordance with the provisions of Section 11 of the Food Act 1983,” the report said.

In less than a month, DBKL has been working hard on several food manufacturers in violation of established standards of hygiene and hygiene.
Previously the case of the tofu factory full of cockroaches and rat droppings attracted the attention of many people. This tofu factory was immediately closed by the government for 14 days to improve their system.
“If the tofu factory is still dirty and dirty when it is reopened, we will issue a warning to revoke the tofu factory’s business permit. I hope that everyone who works in the field of food production can maintain the cleanliness and quality of food,” concluded the Mayor of Kuala Lumpur, Datuk Nor Hisham Dahlan.
