Indeed, fake Chartres Métropole agents show up at the homes of local residents and offer to replace or repair their garbage collection bins against retribution.

These ill-intentioned people posing as agents of Chartres metropolis canvass at the moment businesses and residents of the agglomeration by going directly to their homes to offer to replace / repair their garbage bins against a remuneration of 10 €.
Chartres Métropole, the competent authority for the distribution and replacement of bins, would like to point out that “these people are in no way part of its teams and that they are not appointed by it”.
Chartres Métropole also recalls that “ this type of service is provided free of charge as part of its waste collection policy ”.
No mandated company
