Maybank Sekuritas Indonesia gave a selling rating for BBCA shares with a target price of Rp 6,400 per share. Share BBCA considered to have less attractive prospects this year.

Fundamental conditions are starting to sag until the stock valuation is said to be too high, so these are two factors that make BBCA considered less attractive.

Maybank Sekuritas Indonesia analyst Rahmi Marina estimates that in the first quarter of 2022, BBCA will be able to earn a profit of up to Rp 9 trillion or grow 28% on a global basis. year on year. According to him, this gain was driven more by the annual decline in credit costher.

Rahmi is also expecting outstanding loans BBCA’s property will not change much on an annual basis in the first quarter of 2022. This is because the seasonally early period of the year does have a low demand for credit.

In addition, he sees the weak demand for mortgages for luxury properties which is one of the main drivers of BBCA’s consumer loan growth.

“We still estimate that there will be 8% yoy growth for BBCA’s loan portfolio in the first quarter of 2022, but this is mainly driven by the expansion in Q4-2021 which is mostly corporate loans,” Rahmi said in his research on April 8.
