BBC through the dust over interview choice in Ghislaine Maxwell case

The BBC is going to dust over an interview with Jeffrey Epstein’s former lawyer Alan Dershowitz. He was presented as an independent expert in the case of Ghislaine Maxwell, who was convicted of recruiting underage girls for businessman and investor Epstein.

During the conversation, Dershowitz was given the opportunity to talk to one of the victims of Epstein and Maxwell, to discredit Virginia Giuffre Roberts. The British broadcaster did not mention that Dershowitz himself is also accused of sexual abuse and is therefore not impartial.

De BBC acknowledges that this interview does not meet the editorial criteria and that Dershowitz should not have been presented as an impartial expert. An internal investigation is underway into how this could have happened.
