BB wakepark is preparing for the biggest event of the year – BB Summer Jam – Recreation

On July 31, the annual wakebark competition “BB Summer Jam” will take place in the recreation park “BB wakepark” (Liepāja, Beberliņi), which always ends with live music concerts right under the pine trees in the nice atmosphere of the wakepark. The event is free!

“This is the moment that we look forward to every season with the greatest joy, because it will be our great summer, which we will celebrate in all its glory! “BB Summer Jam” again this time we hope to enjoy the sun, the joys of water, smiling people, live music, children’s laughter, refreshing drinks, and the spirit of competition, “says Santa Wevepark manager Santa Vevere.

“BB Summer Jam” has been taking place every season in Liepaja since 2014, and it is enjoyed not only by fans of this sport, but also by other lovers of active recreation and the audience, who just want to enjoy the great atmosphere of a summer party.

This year, the organizers promise an even more versatile and impressive event, because in parallel with the wakeboard competition, there will also be a skateboard competition in the mini ramp, as well as the Boards.lv surf cup, which will take place the next day on Karosta North Pier beach.

Wakeboard participants will show their skills in several groups, the most impressive of which will be the performance of a group of professionals and the “Best Trick” discipline, where wakeboarders will show their most reckless tricks, which are not usually included in normal start races. The competition, accompanied by good music, with more or less active recreation, can be watched all day long, but the culmination of the most powerful rides is expected from 4 p.m.

DJ All-Viss will take care of the summer dance rhythms throughout the day, but At the end of the day, Katrīna Kabiņecka & The Groovy Funk Band, the witty punk rock band “Tumors”, hip hopper Packman and DJ Nina Elektrichka will perform on the open-air concert.
