Bayern Munich has Atalanta Bergamo revelation Rasmus Højlund in their sights. At the club management of The record champion there is a feeling that at least a striker should be added to the selection next summer.
Since the departure of Robert Lewandowski to FC Barcelona, Bayern has not had a real target man in house. Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting is doing well this season, but has been sidelined with an injury in recent weeks. Without a real striker, Bayern is difficult to score, so that the Bundesliga leader has made a list of potential reinforcements.
It bears Højlund’s name, reports BILD. The twenty-year-old striker is still under contract with Atalanta until the summer of 2027, which means that Bayern has to dig deep into their pockets. The Dane has been playing in Serie A since August last year and has scored seven times so far.
In addition to Højlund, Bayern also keeps an eye on the situations of Victor Osimhen (SSC Napoli), Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur) and Randal Kolo Muani (Eintracht Frankfurt). With an asking price of more than a hundred million euros, the former is said to be too expensive, while Kane is unlikely to leave North London. At Bayern there are question marks whether Kolo Muani has the right profile.
