Large winner in Cologne (4-1), Bayern Munich retained Sunday the head of the Bundesliga with a point ahead of Leipzig. The 22nd day saw the four leading teams win widely.
Kingsley Coman, injured at the knee in early December, scored for Munich for his return as a right winger in the eleven. His friend Serge Gnabry scored twice, and Robert Lewandowski consolidated his first place in the scorers’ classification with his 23rd accomplishment of the season.
In the standings, the Bavarians lead with 46 points ahead of Leipzig (45 points). Dortmund and Mönchengladbach are 42 points away but Gladbach has one game less than Yann Sommer and Cie will play against Cologne on March 11.
