Bayern beat Bamberg | local sport

(DPA). The basketball players of FC Bayern Munich have defended their lead in the Bundesliga despite several corona cases among players and coaches. The leaders celebrated their fifth home win in a row with an 83:62 (34:35) win against Brose Bamberg. The BG Göttingen defeated the Niners Chemnitz at home with 90:69 (37:

37) and thus came to the highest win of the season. Due to the home win, Göttingen climbed to seventh place. The MHP giants Ludwigsburg also made up a place in the table and are now fifth after a 76:59 (41:30) away win at last-placed Gießen 46ers. It remains exciting in the table cellar.
