German Bayer Leverkusen announced the signing of Nigerian striker Victor Boniface from Union Saint-Gilloise, Belgium, on a five-season contract.
German media indicated that the deal was estimated at 20 million euros.
Boniface, 22, scored six goals in the Europa League last season, including one against Bayer Leverkusen in the quarter-finals.
Leverkusen sports director Zimon Rolfes said: “(Boniface) will contribute to enhancing the efficiency in our squad, given the many matches in the league, the German Cup and the European League.”
