Webster Mackay

Adventurous. Nomadic. Soldier. Mackay is dangerous but aware. The Specialist has a claw hook that shoots a rope, attaching to surfaces and taking the player to higher points faster. Mackay is even faster than the other characters in the game. It moves faster, even when targeting an enemy.

Following in his father’s footsteps, Mackay joined the Canadian army as a teenager. At the height of his military career, he participated in Joint Task Force 2 as part of an anti-terrorism unit.

Maria Falck

Falck is a veteran and has Support skills. The Specialist fires syringes that can heal allies and damage enemies. With his special ability, Falck still has the power to return downed allies to combat with full health.

The Specialist served in the German army for six years, touring North Africa and the Middle East, in an effort to make a positive impact on the world.

Wikus “Casper” Van Daele

Soldier Scout Wikus is a loner and represents an unflappable and calm presence on the Task Force. South Africa’s former intelligence-gathering agent can disorient enemies using EMP blasts. With the “Motion Sensor” ability, Wikus can alert the player when enemies approach, either by moving along the ground or using one of the Recon Drones.

When will Battlefield 2042 be released?

Battlefield 2042 will be released on October 22nd for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X e Series S and it’s already on pre-sale. EA Play subscribers still have a 10-hour trial period starting October 15, and those who order the game receive early access to the open beta that will take place in September.

The narrative will have three distinct experiences, which will show players three points of view of the story from the perspective of the characters.

As the title indicates, we see a game that takes place in the not-so-distant future, in which the United States and Russia are clashing over natural resources, which generate storms and weather events on the environment at war. On the ground, high-tech equipment and armor join the old combat with machine gun, soldiers and gunpowder. The focus on vehicles, from quadbikes to helicopters and fighter jets, returns as the main element of the confrontations.
