Detroit (AP) – The German basketball talent Franz Wagner has reached the quarter-finals at the US college championships with his Michigan Wolverines.
At the 76:58 against Florida State Seminoles, the 19-year-old brother of NBA professional Moritz Wagner played a decisive role in the success on Sunday evening (local time) with 13 points, ten rebounds and five assists and had more rebounds and assists than any other player the lot. Michigan is one of the favorites in the Indianapolis tournament known as March Madness and is next up against the University of California Bruins, who unexpectedly beat Alabama.
