In both cases, these are horrific buyout clauses of the equivalent of SEK 10 billion. This breaks the French striker Antoine Griezmann’s clause of SEK 8 billion, which until now has stood as a club record.
Fati was picked up from Barcelona’s youth academy and has accounted for 15 goals and six assists in 48 appearances in the first team.
