Barça is determined to leave its mark during the tour of the United States, either on a football level, with a team that has left a good feeling in the last three games on American soil, or on an advertising level thanks to its visual impact campaigns, the latest in a place as iconic as Times Square.
After the successful as well as provocative digital banner in Las Vegas, where the Barça president, Joan Laporta, challenged Real Madrid before the classic, the Catalan entity has taken advantage of its stay in New York to once again exhibit a dynamic and luminous poster large in the heart of Manhattan.
Unlike the banner in the ‘city of sin’ and the one displayed during the electoral campaign a few meters from the Santiago Bernabeu with the famous “want to see you again”, in December 2020, President Laporta does not appear on the new poster and it is simply informative, without the eternal rival as the recipient of the message.
“Barça in the United States”, reads the new Barcelona advertising space along with the image of the players Robert Lewandowski, Sergiño Dest, Pedri and Sergio Busquets. Below you can see the famous culé motto “more than a club” and finally you can see the Barça shield next to the icon of the main sponsor Spotify.

Less than a month ago, at the beginning of July, Barça was already present in the same space in Times Square in an advertisement together with the music giant. On this occasion, he has repeated the strategy for the friendly match with the New York Red Bulls, which will be played at dawn next Sunday at the Red Bull Arena.
The match against the energy drink team will be Barça’s last in the United States. The team will return to Barcelona to prepare for the Joan Gamper Trophy against Pumas on August 7 at the Camp Nou, which will be the last friendly match before the start of the official season with the match against Rayo Vallecano on the first day of the League.
