Barca regrets losing Messi

Jakarta – Barca experienced a crisis of players on the front lines, after Messi left for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). This condition was exacerbated when Braithwaite suffered a knee injury. The Danish striker suffered a serious knee injury when Barca won 2-1 over Getafe in La Liga, 29 August.

At first Braithwait’s injury seemed mild and did not require surgery. However, the results of the examination said otherwise, Brait must rest long enough for postoperative recovery.

Practically when they lost 3-0 to Bayern Munich, Barca only had two senior strikers, namely Memphis Depay and Luuk de Jong.

Prior to Braithwaite’s injury, the Catalan club had not been able to play three strikers, namely Sergio Aguero, Ansu Fati and Ousmane Dembele.

“We only have three strikers to choose from. Of course we want to be able to compete better. But there is a difference in quality between them (and us) as a team.” Barca coach Ronaldo Koeman said after the game.
