A sequel to their Spotify podcast of the same name, the book will build on it and add new stories, over 350 photographs and illustrations. “Over the years, what we have discovered is that we have a common sensibility, about work, family and America,” Barack Obama wrote in the first pages of the book. In our own way, Bruce and I have taken side trips to try to understand this country that has given so much to both of us. Trying to tell the stories of its inhabitants. Seeking a way to connect our own individual searches for meaning, truth, and community with the larger history of America. “

The Democrat and the singer launched Renegades on Spotify in February. According to Variety, the 320-page book will be published in both English and Spanish.
