Sivakarthikeyan starrer ‘Prince’ is the most awaited film by Tamil cinema fans. Released to huge fanfare, the film flopped in theatres. Then the film faced a huge box office failure. Subsequently, critics and distributors came forward with criticisms against the actor and film crew. Now the news is coming out that Sivakarthikeyan has paid compensation to the distributors.
According to Tamil media, Sivakarthikeyan paid Rs 3 crore as compensation to the distributors. Apart from that, three crores were also given to Sri Venkateswara Studios, the production company of the film.
Prince was released on October 21 last year. Released simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu, Prince tells the story of a love story between an Indian boy and a British girl. Ukrainian actress Maria Ryaboshapka played the heroine in the film. Prince is directed by Anudeep KV.
