It’s the latest meme in vogue. Social networks have been swarming with publications for a few days with the hashtag #DollyPartonChallenge. The idea is to post four images of yourself (or someone else) that would be perfect as a profile photo for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Tinder. It is therefore a question of finding a professional cliché, another more compatible with a friendly and family context, a third entertaining photo and a last scope towards seduction.
At the origin of this new viral challenge, the American singer Dolly Parton collected a million likes by posting her photos with the following mention: “Find a woman who can do everything”.
If the meme was first widely taken up by the American entertainment world, it quickly spread to other spheres, including sport. Many footballers and clubs participated with more or less creativity.
No Tinder for Falcao
Among the most noted posts, Mario Balotelli notably took the selfie he had taken while celebrating one of his goals with OM. Chelsea and Arsenal also hit home with their supporters, offering a result for N’Golo Kanté and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. English player Lucy Bronze of OL also participated. But the best publication of a footballer probably comes from the former Monegasque striker Radamel Falcao who, married, crossed out the space reserved for the photo Tinder.
The joke of the official F1 account
Outside the world of ball, boxing legend Mike Tyson also had fun posting his four photos. And he took the opportunity to refer to the instigator of the movement: “Am I a man who can do everything? Please confirm, Dolly Parton”.
The community manager of the Formula 1 also joined the recreation, imagining the photos of Kimi Räikkönen … which would be identical for the four social networks. An idea that made connoisseurs laugh, because the Finnish driver is known for not being very expressive and smiling with (very) parsimony. Still in the world of the motorsport queen discipline, Carlos Sainz Jr and the world champion Lewis Hamilton also played the game.
