Bahia will make its debut in 2024 with the under-20 team this Thursday (4), in the first round of the group stage of the São Paulo Junior Football Cup.
The Squadron’s debut will be against Joinville, at 3:15 pm, broadcast live on the SporTV channel. The match takes place at the Dario Rodrigues Leite stadium, in Guaratinguetá.
The tricolor delegation has 22 players, eight of which were cut from the “pre-list” by coach Rogério Ferreira.
Therefore, the following are registered in Copinha:
- Goalkeepers: Victor and Iuri
- Defenders: Hygor, Marcello, Rafael, Gerald, Jackson, Alex, Kauã Davi and Daniel;
- Midfielders: Sidney, Vitinho, Wendel, Paulo Souto, Guilherme, Pedrinho and Roger Gabriel;
- Forwards: Tiago, Juninho, Ruan Pablo, Kennedy and Waliffer.
Depending on the calendar and Bahia’s progression in the Copinha, some names from this team may play for the professional team in the first two rounds of the Bahia Championship.
