“Baden-Württemberg Duo Takes the Lead at Horse International in Munich-Riem”

The Horse International started today at the Olympic riding facility in Munich-Riem. However, right in the first test, the spectators who had come in droves saw a double leadership from Baden-Württemberg. In the first competition of the CSI3*-Tour over 1.40 meters, Sven Sieger won with the Daytona owned by Sabine Holeska, which is still in a good mood. The duo from Ebenweiler set a new record of 64.87 seconds without making any mistakes. Only another couple from Baden-Württemberg could be really dangerous for the two: Lea Sophia Gut and Canturia also remained without mistakes and needed 65.25 seconds to cross the finish line. That meant second place. After the other placed Tobias Bachl and the two Irishmen Thomas Ryan and Jenny Rankin, Tim Hoster followed with the only eight-year-old Holsteiner gelding PBM Kannan’s Mr. Grey. The Holsteiner bred by the Pfefferle family also dropped everything in today’s course and crossed the finish line without any mistakes.

The Pferd International attracts visitors to Munich-Riem until Sunday with top-class sport in dressage, jumping, vaulting, para-dressage and working equitation. While dressage fans can look forward to the five-star tour, show jumpers will get their money’s worth on the second stage of the BEMER Riders Tour. (akb)
