The two youngsters Robin M. * (16) and Oliver H. * (15) wanted to take the post bus from Bad Ragaz SG to Valens on Sunday afternoon to whiz down the old road to Bad Ragaz with their trikes. “We have already done this many times,” says M. opposite 20 Minuten. He assumes that the bus driver felt the tensioning set was a provocation and therefore tore down the drift trike. “He was pretty unfriendly from the start, and when he saw the tensioning set it must have broken the barrel,” said M., explaining the reaction. He only wanted to react to what the chauffeur said at the beginning, namely that the vehicles were not secured enough.

Postbus is known to be the case. “For security reasons we cannot take such special vehicles with us,” media spokesman Urs Bloch is quoted as saying. The description of the incident also differs from the version of the young people. According to Bloch, after being asked to remove the trike, M. tightened the tensioning belt and insulted the chauffeur furiously. The driver then said that if he did not remove it himself, he would take the trike down.
