This return will be gradual and mixed, under strict security protocols, this with the aim of avoiding crowds in institutions and, above all, infections by COVID-19.

Those responsible detailed that this return is joined by the Ministry of Health to monitor the strict operation of sanitary protocols, as well as training actions for teachers and school cleaning personnel.

“For this, the health committees will be integrated in each school, the mandatory use of mouth covers, maintaining a healthy distance, suspension of mass meetings, the supply of water and soap, the use of anti-bacteria gel and the temperature measurement will be guaranteed. each campus, in other actions and the return to classes will be staggered ”.

Hernández de León, emphasized that it is important to recover learning and combat the problems in the school community derived from confinement.

“A prolonged closure of schools can have negative effects on current generations in the short, medium and long term; returning to face-to-face classes is a key step for the continuity of education and the recovery of learning that will contribute to reducing problems related to malnutrition, violence, teenage pregnancy, among others ”.

Although it is true, parents do not agree that face-to-face classes are resumed in August, because there are still COVID-19 infections, and they have opined that it is convenient to continue with online classes.

Derived from this, the undersecretary, reported that in the event of a COVID-19 contagion, the corresponding measures will be taken to prevent an outbreak.

“The educational service will be provided in a diverse, safe, gradual and mixed way, if necessary, according to the criteria determined by each center, it will be agreed how we will be implementing the face-to-face activities, if there is a risk of contagion, we would definitely be determining the possible change, “he added.
