Awkward Moment at Kremlin: Putin and South Sudanese President’s Earpiece Mishap

The awkward moment dragged on and made Putin, who sat helplessly nearby, helping the president of South Sudan with advice, blush.

Putin’s negotiations with South Sudanese President Salvatore Kiir, which caused ridicule on social networks, continued – a video of a new embarrassment that occurred in the Kremlin during the meeting appeared on the Internet. The protocol cameras caught the moment before Putin’s speech, when Kiir tried to put on a simultaneous translation earpiece. The awkward moment lasted about a minute and made Putin blush, who, amid international isolation, is forced to communicate with African leaders of third world countries.

Kiir clumsily twirled the earpiece in his hands, which he tried to hook behind his ear. The pause stretched so long that Putin began to help him. But this didn’t help either; the earphone fell out of the hands of the African politician and fell to the floor. The guest’s awkwardness also affected Putin, who blushed and looked confused. As a result, everyone put on the earpiece together with the Kremlin protocol service.

A fragment of the video is published by the Telegram channel “Ukraine 365“.

“A meeting of two world leaders. The man in the hat who saw the earphone for the first time is the President of South Sudan, Salva Kiir,” users sneer.

Previously “leader” of the DPRK I arrived on an armored train to Russia for negotiations with fellow dictator Putin.
