Awarded “Climate-neutral TU Graz 2030”

TU Graz was the first university in Austria to decide to become climate-neutral by 2030 and has adopted an ambitious roadmap to do so. The measures range from saving energy, increasing efficiency and in-house production of green energy to buildings, procurement and mobility. The basis for the documentation of progress is a comprehensive and precise greenhouse gas balance, which includes the entire university infrastructure and is updated annually.

Two Awards 2022

The ambitious project “Climate-neutral TU Graz 2030” has now been awarded two prizes: In July there was the “State Energy Globe STYRIA AWARD 2022” 1st place in the “Application” category. And at „Sustainability Award 2022“ the “Climate-neutral TU Graz 2030” was awarded 2nd place in the field of “Administration and Management”.
