Auto tour 2021: here is the itinerary!

The route of the 30th edition of the Tour Auto Optic 2020 has just been unveiled. The vehicles will leave an ephemeral Grand Palais in Paris on April 19, to reach Nice on April 24, via five stages for a total journey of 1,930 kilometers.

This year because of the Covid crisis, the Tour Auto will not start from the famous Grand Palais in Paris, but from an “ephemeral Grand Palais” relocated for the occasion on the Champs-de-Mars, at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. From Monday April 19, the 200 competitors will be exhibiting their mounts in the open air to reduce the risk of contagions. A good solution, moreover rather attractive!

The next day, they will set out on the most beautiful roads in France to compete as always in timed events in the Competition or Regularity category. Their first stop will be the Château de Courances located in Essonne.

After clashing during ten special stages on closed roads and four circuits (Dijon-Prenois, Circuit de Bresse, Lédenon, Paul Ricard), the competitors will join Nice on Saturday April 24. They will have covered 1,930 kilometers in total.

The detailed route of the most famous rally in France, with the transit times in the municipalities, will be communicated by the organizer Peter Auto on March 29, 2021.
