According to the Southern Sky website, Tuesday, August 2, 2022, there will be a Full Moon where the Earth’s natural satellite will be above the horizon from sunset until dawn on 12 August.
This is a good opportunity to observe the Moon and its craters. After the full moon phase, the moon will slowly shift its rising time towards night.
Then, on August 27, there will be a new phase of the Moon which is ideal for observations. At that time the sky will be dark without moonlight.
