augmented reality glasses delivered earlier than expected

The fruit of long-standing rumors, the brand’s apple glasses have recently entered their “second phase of development”.

A recent report from Digitimes reported on the move to the next level of augmented reality glasses. This project, which would involve more than 1,000 engineers and researchers, could see the day of its marketing arrive earlier than expected.

While some reports predicted a 2022 release, a leading Apple analyst has announced that the product could arrive in 2021. Something to style the Facebook post which plans to release its smart glasses this year, but without augmented reality.

This news comes a few months after a report from The information which had announced the transition from the prototype to the production test state. In this report, the site states: “The lenses use a polarization system, similar to 3D glasses for movies, which creates an illusion of depth through stereoscopic images. An accessory for iPhone

Still according to reports, these glasses should fall into the category of accessories. There is currently no use of the device alone. They will initially display information directly from a connected iPhone.

The glasses will have a microphone to activate commands via Siri and allow phone calls. They should also contain an accelerometer in order to track the user’s head movements. For aesthetic reasons and to save battery, the deadlock should be made on an on-board camera.

Regarding the design, the Apple glasses would look like a classic pair, despite the slightly thicker frames.

As for the price, it is difficult to judge the value of a product that does not yet exist on the market. The Cupertino company announces targeting the range of 600 dollars. The price at the exit will depend on a lot of factors. It would probably be wise to ignore this kind of objective for the moment.

A product development that comes in parallel witha year 2020 rich in events and technological progress for the brand : new iPads, iPhones, an update of the Apple Watch and above all the release of MacBook with the new A1 processor. If the predictions of renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo prove to be correct, new news on Apple glasses should not be missing in this year 2021.
