The organizers of the All-American Team Cup (3-5 July) have chosen not to give up following their event despite the positive coronavirus test by one of the participants, Frances Tiafoe. The American felt the symptoms of the virus after his first game played on Friday before taking a new test. He will not replay but will be replaced by Christopher Eubanks (# 238) and the exhibition will therefore continue.

“After hearing this news, we started cleaning and disinfecting the event site and adopted the protocols in place to search for contact persons and alert those who may have been exposed. […] We will continue to diligently apply all the directives of the local health authorities ”, explains the press release issued by the organizers.

The event, which brings together the best American players, is disputed in front of the public but follows a protocol of social distancing unlike the Adria Tour, which had to stop after the positive test of one and then of several participants.
