Before the second practice, it started to rain at the Hungaroring. Light rain also remained during the training itself. We didn’t see too much activity on the track in its first half. Gasly was the first to go on the track, having problems with his engine in the first practice and did not start at all.
Then Pérez joined him and then his teammate and also Kimi Räikkönen, who left the car to Kubic in the first practice.
We did not see a larger number of riders on the track until the second half of the training. Renault and Hamilton also tried the tires in transient conditions, but returned to the pits after one lap. The green marked tires did not come to the fore until the end of the training, but the riders did not accelerate on them.
Sebastian Vettel set the fastest time ahead of Bottas and Sainz. Only 13 riders set the time.
