An avalanche in the Himalayas yesterday killed at least eight people. Another 384 people had to be rescued from the mountains in India, Indian authorities report.
Six of the people who had to be taken to safety are in bad shape. According to Indian media the victims were busy with road works.
Rescue work is currently ongoing. Among other things, four helicopters and a search dog from the army are deployed.
