ASUS Introduces ROG Harpe Ace Aim Lab 54-gram Wireless Gaming Mouse – Computers – News

ASUS introduces a new wireless gaming mouse to the ROG series. ROG Harpe Ace Aim Lab Edition weighs 54 grams and gets a ROG AimPoint optical sensor that supports up to 36,000 dpi. There’s no word on when exactly the mouse will be released or how much it will cost.

ASUS features the ROG Harpe Ace mouse at CES in Las Vegas. The company produces the mouse in cooperation with the developers of the fps training software Aim Lab. According to the manufacturer, the ROG Harpe Ace gaming mouse is intended for e-sports.

The mouse is equipped with a ROG AimPoint sensor, which the company makes in collaboration with PixArt. It has a resolution of 100 to 36,000 dpi and can handle accelerations up to 50G. ROG Harpe Ace also has a polling rate of 1000Hz. The left and right mouse buttons both feature a mechanical ROG switch that is expected to provide a lifespan of 70 million mouse clicks.

The mouse works wirelessly via a 2.4GHz connection, Bluetooth, or a USB-C cable, which is also used to charge the mouse. According to ASUS, battery life is up to 90 hours without RGB LEDs or 70 hours with standard lighting settings. The 2.4GHz connection is used for this; with a bluetooth connection the mouse lasts a few hours longer. ROG Harpe Ace also has a symmetrical design. However, since the mouse only has side buttons on one side, it’s not intended for left-handed users.

The mouse is 127.5 mm long, 63.7 mm wide, 39.5 mm high and weighs 54 grams. ROG Harpe Ace features an RGB LED integrated into the scroll wheel, which can be customized via the Armory Crate software. It also allows users to calibrate their sensor for use with the mouse pad and adjust other settings.
