The snowstorm hinders circulation on 112 Spanish roads, seven of them on the main network
According to the latest data provided by the General Directorate of Traffic (DGT), chains are needed on the A-395 in the access to Sierra Nevada (Granada) and on the N-630 in the Port of Pajares, which is closed to traffic from articulated trucks and vehicles. In addition, Traffic asks to be extremely careful in:
– The A-6 in Brazuelo (León) and on the same highway in Piedrafita de O Cebreiro, in Lugo.
– In this same province, on the N-VI in As Nogais.
– On the AP-66, the snow greatly complicates the circulation between El Monclín (Asturias) and Valverde de la Virgen (León).
– There are also circulatory difficulties in Zamora on the A-52 in Puebla de Sanabria.
– On the A-67 from Lena (Cantabria) to Aguilar de Campoo (Zamora).
– On the AP-1 in Ruena (Burgos).
– On the AP-61 in León capital.
There are 12 mountain passes closed to traffic: nine in Asturias, two in Cantabria and one in the province of León.
