“Astronauts” releases a new song and announces a concert in the arena

The group “Astro’n’out” has released a new song “Manifestē” and announced its biggest concert so far – it will take place in “Arena Rīga” on November 3.

“Astronauts” latest single “Manifiste” is the first song from the group’s seventh studio album, which is scheduled for release in the fall. The song is a bit reminiscent of the famous “Multivitamin multipack” – both stylistically and because of the wordplay found in it, but it is highlighted by the peculiar guitar sound. It is symbolic that the song has taken on the role of a kind of messenger for another big event in the group’s life – the first “Astro’n’out” concert “Arena Riga”, which will take place on November 3. “This concert will not only be the biggest “Astro’n’out” solo concert to date, but also a celebration of the release of the band’s new album. The concert will feature the latest singles of “Astro’n’out” as well as long-loved songs, which are already customary to perform and dance with the audience,” informs the group’s management.

So far, the biggest “astronauts” concerts have been in the “Palladium” concert hall and the Mežaparks Green Theater – also in the most prestigious concert venues, therefore the “Arena Riga” event can be considered as filling the last white space on the map of Latvian concerts. “This is an interesting challenge for us as a group, because at the same time we want to be able to gather together the largest number of our listeners, but at the same time we want to preserve the intimacy that is heard in the new album,” admits the leader and soloist of “Astro’n’out” Mara Upman-Holstein. “We are aiming for everyone to have danced crazier, but at the same time met for a conversation about the essentials – about longings, losses, hopes, honest questions for ourselves. To meet for real with all the emotions from AZ, but above all celebrating life and the opportunity to be together again in the music we love.”
