Aston Villa has been given some hope of securing the signing of Emile Smith Rowe this summer after an observer told them that “the door remains open” on a deal.
Villa has already begun the task of transforming his midfield this summer. They may have already agreed to a club record contract by Emiliano BuendiaBut Chief Dean Smith is already looking at more. In fact, his team is reportedly looking to make a “massive” move for Southampton captain James Ward-Prowse.
To round out a trio of stars, Smith also wants to sign young Arsenal star Smith Rowe. However, having turned down a £ 25 million initial offer, they have faced similar Gunner rejection with another offer.
Amid all the claims about Villa, there is also a school of thought that claims Smith Rowe He will soon sign a new contract with Arsenal.

“If Arsenal comes out with a cut: ‘Not for sale,’ then maybe Villa won’t bother upping the ante.
“It seems that the fact that they have returned a couple of times with an improved offer, they have said that it is not enough.”

McLeish, however, believes that Smith Rowe’s tenure at Arsenal is the most likely outcome.
He has seen it flourish for the past six months and claims there would be quite a stir at Arsenal if he left.
“I would be very surprised [if he was sold] because that child burst onto the scene with astonishing quality. It must have given Arsenal fans and teammates a huge boost.
“You’d think his teammates wouldn’t want to see him go and, more importantly, the punters.”
Smith Rowe has two years left on his contract at Emirates Stadium.
