Zelensky emphasizes that the war with Russia will not end tomorrow, and people who are abroad – in the US, Europe, Canada, need financial and humanitarian support.
Many states provide this support to Ukrainians, but some of them are forced to reduce its size.
“I know that many countries that provide humanitarian support to our people are reducing this support because it is not easy for them. I don’t blame them for anything, they have already done so much for our people … I want you to pay attention for some simple things, to help our people financially while they are outside the territory of our state is important, to help humanitarianly is important. As for temporary work, schools, education, we can help Ukraine in this direction,” the president said.
He also added that people themselves want to return – to their husbands, parents, sons who are fighting.
“They did not come for a long time, they believe in victory and return,” the president said.
