Assange suffered a stroke in a London prison

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has suffered a stroke at London’s Belmarsh Prison, where he has been detained since 2019, the Mail on Sunday reported, citing his fiancée Stella Morris. According to her, the stroke occurred on October 27 during Assange’s speech before the Supreme Court of London via video link. According to Morris, the stroke was caused by stress.

A few days ago, the United States won a decisive appeal in its fight to extradite the founder of WikiLeaks on espionage charges. Meanwhile, Australian lawmakers have asked Prime Minister Scott Morrison to intervene in the case of Julian Assange, an Australian citizen.
