TRIBUNNEWS.COM, NEW DELHI – After the emergence of a black, white and yellow fungal infection called Mucormycosis, India has experienced a new case of fungal infection, namely Aspergillosis.
So far, more than 11,000 cases of black fungus have been reported in several states.
The states hardest hit by this rare fungal infection are Maharashtra and Gujarat.
In Gujarat, cases of black fungus infection continue to increase.
Doctors in the city of Vadodara have reported 8 cases of a new fungal infection called Aspergillosis.

Just like black fungus, infection Aspergillosis also found in people who have just recovered from the corona virus (Covid-19).
On Thursday, Vadodara reported 262 new cases of black fungus and 8 new cases Aspergillosis.
Currently, 8 patients have been hospitalized.
